I am one of the thousands of writers crazy enough to participate in NaNoWriMo's novel writing contest. I just reached the half-way mark of 25K and was encouraged by Chris Baty's pep talk to celebrate the accomplishment. Since I am a computer nut and actually enjoy the time I waste in cyberspace, I thought I would reward myself by finally getting a blog up and running like so many other writer compatriots! (Or should I say competitors in this case?) The guilt we writers suffer when we are not dutifully plugging away at our various projects is nothing short of Sisyphean torture, so the license to waste time and say wahoo is, well ... wahoo!
